Takahē Recovery x Sarah Maybe Little illustration
Takahē were thought to be extinct not once, but twice! The recovery of takahē began when they were rediscovered in 1948 by Dr Geoffrey Orbell, in Fiordland’s Murchison Mountains. This year we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of rediscovery!
NZ artist and conservation ranger Sarah Maybe Little draws delightful bird cartoons to support conservation programmes. Proceeds from t-shirt sales will support the Takahē Recovery Programme, returning takahē to the wild.
